Hojo Tokimune
by I was watching KDOC one day and I stumbled upon an interesting show called "Hojo Tokimune" about a japanese ruler around the time of their war with the mongols. The show was in japanese with subtitles, so i started to watch it. It's historical fiction, but it plays out like a soap opera, with plots of forced marriages, deceptive family members, usurpers of the throne, secret pregnancies and the like. It quickly became my favorite show. But sometimes i feel as if I'm the only person who watches it. Has anyone else ever heard of or seen this show?

once in awhile i watch those shows for a little bit but i have no idea what is going on. i watch because the people look so funny all yelling and talking in weird languages i dont understand...not because i like it. haha
actually when i was watching the kings-lakers game 7 at jesse t's, i think his dad was flipping through and landed on this channel. it must be addicting because i had to practically beg him to put the game back on
I hate when there is an interesting show on, but someone insists on watching "The Game" instead. Can you really improve yourself by watching other people playing sports?
definately. you pick up plays, moves. but not only that. "THE GAME" is purely entertainment. something fun and exciting to watch. You have to love football. so good.
sorry felipe but i think you have a pretty dumb argument. i think you can improve yourself a lot more by watching a basketball game than by watching a bunch of japanese people talk (in japanese) about their sex lives. My feeling is that TV in general is a waste of time, which is why i dont really watch any, except for football and basketball in the playoffs.
tv really is the biggest waste of time. I only catch tv from 10 and on.
WHen i'm lyinh in bed during a weeknight trying to sleep I will catch some shows... such as friends or sienfeld at 11. I haven't been able to catch any conan. oh well. that star wars skit he did held me over and will hold me over for awhile. so funny. i love triumph.
oh yeah.. and i watch PTI when i first come home from work to unwind. Korn and Bun. Those two guys are two funny. Arguing about sports is great.
