dream journal - absolute zero related.

OK, so last night I had a dream, and I remembered it vividly this morning and here it is:

I'm at a quick build in the city, which is a skyscraper, its really strange, we're just up on the top of this half-formed building working, and next door is another high-rise that's being built, and up on top of the scaffolding/iron beams is a stage and Trevor (brother from my hall who is in Absolute Zero) is up there singing/rapping his guts out, somehow at the same time, he tells me that they replaced their drummer (sorry Brandon), I think this is connected to the fact that I ran into Sal at the convention in Philly and he told me that his band got a new drummer.
Anyway, Trevor is up there, and as usual, I can't really hear him and whatnot. But he's real into it, and jumps around and almost falls off the scaffolding.

Now the weird part: Now a group of brothers comes and tells them that they've learned the dangers of having a witness band and want to explain it in the form of a song. Now they start to play and its a perfect cover of a Green Day or Blink 182 song but I can't remember. then they seamlessly break into a cover of a Chemical Brothers song. again perfectly. I remember it was like they mixed into it, like a DJ mixing a song's end into another song's beginning. While this is going on, I notice that one of the guys (in an extreme closeup) has a nose-ring and weird hair (but supposedly, these brothers were down below at the quick build).

Then we all go to the studio, and the guy's talking to the sound engineer who was taping the whole thing, and who said she couldn't make a CD cause they don't have the rights to the Chemical Brothers song, and that she didn't know they were gonna do a remix. Maybe it was too perfect. Anyway, the guy from the band said, "well what about the guitar harmonics?" (Don't ask me, I have no idea what he meant, but I think it was his explanation of why they didn't need permission to cover the song.

At one point, maybe the end, or somewhere in the middle, my girlfriend and I were trying to get to the stage/sound room. We left the quickbuild highrise, and went down to the street, crossed it, went up really flimsy/open/scary stairs that just ended nowhere. I think we jumped to another landing to get to where we wanted.
