i thought that you were the firefly and she was the light bulb. by the way, calling a girl a light bulb isn't exactly a compliment. she might think you're telling her she's round, made of glass, and illuminitory. and illuminitory isn't even a real word, so she might even think you're telling her she doesn't exist!

actually i was reffering to her as a light that warms me up
very romantic. "darling, your eyes are like two lit pools in the moonlight. your lips are like soft pillows that i long only to touch. you're also like a... big light bulb, sorta... ya know, with light and stuff coming out... "warming" me, get it? dang, i was on a roll and i killed it!"

here's my advice to you. analyze the situation. are you in a position to date this girl? if so then your answer is get off your butt and stop being such a little pansy. if not then your answer is to stop torturing yourself and put it out of your head. am i right? am i being to harsh? i don't care! this is the mood i'm in today, and you all have to deal with it. either way, you should stop comparing her to a light bulb.
How old is she? Do you have a way of supporting yourself if you get married, which of course would be the only reason you'd be dating her. Is she spiritually strong? Are you spiritually strong enough to perhaps support a wife/family?

i was a firefly in my 2nd grade play.
i was king of spain in my 5th grade play.
i turned the lights on and off for our 2nd grade play. my parents even have pictures of it.
