by After a scrumptous chinese buffet at our usual restaurant, we headed back to mansfield. we walk in the theater and it had to be the smallest theater in the whole building. Who dares to minimize james bond? but anyway onto the movie. it was so unlike a regular bond movie.
SOME MAY CONSIDER THIS SPOILING- it actually had an amazing plot-line. it really worked. halle berry was not a typical bond girl because she was just a female version on james which i thought worked so well. and the traditional beginning with the girls and the song- so crazy! they had the girls bein fire and water. which i thought made them look really cool. END OF SPOILERS
Overall, the best james bond movie i have seen in such a long time. We all sat there in the theater after it was over being like WHOA!!! My reccomendation is to definetly go see it, but it is not for the faint of heart or those afraid of loud noises. sorry mike ;)

I saw it last night... I'm going to see it again next Saturday... so many good points, but they ruined the gunbarrel opening with the addition of the bullet and the slow motion-to-quickly-sped-up action sequences were totally NOT Bond. Also, a lot of the plot was predictable (but that adds to the fun at times)and since it was the 40th Anniversary film, there are a lot of in jokes and references to previous 007 epics
I'm surprised how quickly the movie sold out... I got there for the 8:00 showing (I was there at 7:15) and got my ticket. At about 7:40, Todd, Matt and Jesse showed up and it was sold out!
that's cuz if you went to mansfield they put it in the smallest theater they have. made me so mad. we ended up sitting right under the screen and we were there 20 minutes early and those were the only seats left.
