To the friends in Circuit NJ-1

I have a talk coming up in Lake Hiawatha and am using some illustrations we got at our circuit assembly. Need to know if:
A) You had your circuit assembly yet and
B) Who your District Overseer is (is it Brother Thompson?)
This way I can tailor the talk and present the illustrations accordingly! Thanks!

who has their District Assembly July 4th, 5th, 6th? (I know NJ Circuit 1 does.. who else?)
i do. (i'm in NY36. I'm not sure if I'm in A or B). Also, my LI friends have the same assembly as us!! WAAHOOOO!! FREE places to stay!!! and fun times at night!!!
We have ours the weekend before! I think it's just 3 congregations in our circuit, PA-2... all others (including Hackettstown) are in Philly August 22-24. Wow... the 22nd would have been my 11th wedding anniversary. Weird!
I was finally told why we don't go to Philly (we're in your circuit too Dave! and don't get to go to Philly) is because it's based upon driving distance. So even though we're in a PA circuit we go to an NY district convention while the rest of our circuit goes to Philly. BUT with all the traffic getting out onto LI it's just faster to go to Philly.
Yeah, I figured it was driving distance, but it's weird that Hackettstown is assigned to Philly this year when they always go to LI!!
Well, see I thought that was weird too. When we toured Bethel the other day we got to meet friends of the Porrino's and the husband works on the district convention things like hotels. He says they take the distance from the kingdom hall to the place. Which would mean that Stanhope and Hackettstown should go to the same place.
well, they might do the distance from the center of the territory, not the kingdom hall.
nope. they do the KH. i remember cause they said to stay at hotel on LI the KH had to be more than 50 miles. And ours was 49.
oh ruffness, ours was like that for a while, but it changed and now we can stay... but i just enjoy staying at my dear friend janner bo banner's house each year.

im in NJ1 and i need a different assembly to go to cus i have wedding in the carolinas that weekend---but i also need somewhere to stay out in LI cus i can't drive my car back and forth alone!
