Yeah, I just got cable hooked up, well, basic cable, whatever, like, for the first time in over a year. did you know they edit some commercials? there were a couple that I saw in Canada that my friends said were different than the ones in US, that they'd taken some stuff out of. can't remember details. funky?

if you see one commercial at 2 in the afternoon, it'd be a totally different commercial at 1 am. but they also edit a lot depending on countries. because like in france they show nudity in commercials. it's no big deal.

canada allows more risqué topics. for ex: they had this commercial where a teen named cam started an 800 number offering FREE CAM EXAMS for women. he had three geeky friends manning the phones. the point was: you're never too busy to do your monthly breast exam. it was pretty funny.
haha, yeah the one where they're advertising security and it's this bald guy. the computer asks for a fingerprint, eye scan, then hair sample. on the US version he just feels his bald head and then looks down his shirt and then this bald lady comes in to tell him he has a meeting or something. in the canadian version she comes in and he has his pants unzippered (looking for a hair sample i suppose)

The best is the sprint one where the guy orders 200 oxen and gets 200 dacshunds instead. They have two of the dogs tied to a yolk. And then they lasso a dog and it goes around him. THen at the end they yell stampede and theres tons of the little guys running through the field....
you know, that makes me laugh. a lot. because i have a sprint phone, and becuase i live in the middle of nowhere, it's basically a nice instrument for helping me remember where the numbers are on the phone. b/c i sure can't make calls.
