COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - A Danish bomb squad shot to pieces a
teddy bear left on the doorstep of a Jehovah's Witness hall on Thursday evening with a note saying it contained a
bomb, police said.
A group of Jehovah's Witnesses on their way into a meeting
had found the cuddly toy with a note reading: "If you touch
me I will blow up. I am a bomb."Police told the 80 Jehovah's Witnesses to leave the hall in
a quiet suburb six miles northwest of Copenhagen, and closed off the surrounding area to traffic.A bomb-disposal robot then approached the bear. "The bomb
unit fired two shots at the teddy bear and there was no reaction. There is nothing that indicates that thereactually was a bomb," a Copenhagen police duty officer told
Reuters.Police said they were trying to establish who was
responsible for the hoax.

something like this happened at my school, w/o the teddy bear out eh kh or the robot. but it invlonved hot sauce thatwas in a metal box that was thought to be a bomb, and they evacuated the whole school for like 4 hours. it was fun
this happened at my hS too and i was in gym class at the time and it was winter. THAT bites...
oh man, in my skool we had a bomb scare and got to leave early...it was spring time! so nice! and then in the science lab acid had spilled over night and we got delayed openings for that... so sweet no science :-D
my school had quite a few bomb scares---one time when i was teaching spanish at the daycare we had to each take or carry 5 kids to get them as far away from the building as possible.

When I was in 7th grade we had the brown out-fire-smoke scare where the sub teacher named Miss Horsey ran through the halls shouting 'it's a real fire' and was never seen in our school again. We also had a chemical spill where my lit teacher got hosed down. Then we come to HS where we've had a gun threat from someone in my grade..bomb scare which ended up just being a smoke bomb..and lots of heating pipes burst.
