scary times

An employee at my company was called up to serve in the United States Navy service in Iraq a few months ago. The following is an email (they actually did have access to email there) we just recieved from him:

Tahryn,

Just a quick heads up to let you know that I will be incommunicado for the short foreseeable future. In the famous words of our ancestors, the **** is about to hit the fan. The military will be shutting down all electronic lines of communication within the next few hours. We are going to the next stage of readiness, and we're breaking out all our gear.

Please let everybody know I'm fine and that we are prepared for the next step. God bless and keep you safe. Please pray for our brothers-in-arms and for the Iraqi people. May this thing we do be the right thing for all mankind.

Love,

David
