Cryptography

guys... i have to give a presentation on the Madryga Cryptology method tonight and I know nothing about it. Basically all I'm finding is reports by losers who have have nothing better to do than scan cryptography books for errors. I'm trying to get info on google but i'm not finding much. here's what I need to know:

  1. History
  2. Key Characteristics

    • length of input block
    • Length of the key
    • How many rounds?

  3. A diagram of it
  4. Cryptanalysis efforts to date
  5. Hardware & Software implementation
  6. Typical/Esoteric Usage

Any help would be appreciated.

some tips, try searching both the Web, and the Groups. you can switch your search between them.

search for Madryga cipher, Madryga crypto, Madryga cryptography, Madryga encryption, Madryga cryptanalysis, Madryga algorithm, and also try those in quotes, and then try adding on some keywords like history, etc.

here's one link

or just constantly email ian and bombard him with im's until he finally retreives the answers for you.

yeah, and then never speak to him again once he gets you what you're looking for

go to the library and search in the ACM web archives. you get free access if you do it from the NJIT library. don't have to be a member

guys fyi, i did the presentation and it went well. Turns out that this cryptography algorithm is not very highly regarded which is why i could find very little info on it.
