Insurance

web-toedchloe by web-toedchloe · Apr 14, 2003 · 158 views · Journal

I'm having a little bit of trouble finding the cheapest auto insurance in New Jersey. Every site I look at seems to not offer insurance in New Jersey. I have State Farm now, but their rates are horrible. I don't want All State. I'm processing a quote for Liberty Mutual.

What insurance carrier do you have? Are there any you would recommend?

yea cheap for you because you're like 90

guy, I've got 9 points on my license, own a non-cheap (not a benz or beamer, but not a Neon either) car that I need full insurance on cause I've got a loan, and I've had insurance with them since before I turned 25, and it was the cheapest I could find.

Just keep searching, find a list of Insurance companies, get quotes from them, and ASK if they offer any discounts. some insurance companies will only give you discounts you deserve if you ask for them (like good-student discounts if you're in HS/College)

i have NJ Cure, it's non-profit. i don't exactly know if their rates are competitive, but they're a lot less than my old company (Amica)

Yeah, I got a quote from them when I was searching for new insurance. It was close to I.F.A.

See, I don't have any points, but I totalled my car in December, so I have an at-fault accident. That's what sucks.

thanks for posting this di, i need to switch insurance too. i have the bare minimum insurance, i have NO points, and an old car and my sister is still paying less than me even though she's 3 years younger, has full coverage and a newer car

she's a female. get over it.

web-toedchloe #6.1.1 web-toedchloeOG 2001

Don't overestimate being female. My current company, State Farm (a.k.a. The Devil) quoted me $8,000 per year.

ilikebirds #6.1.1.1 ilikebirdsOG 2002

yea they wanted 5000 for a golf. ridiculous

i say get out of jersey altogether. I mean besides cheaper insurance, there's no smell, no jersey drivers, no joisey goils, etc... I mean the benefits are too numerous to list.

skaorsk8 #7.1 skaorsk8OG 2002

watch it, we're not going to let you back into the state...you'll be forced to suffer...

web-toedchloe #7.2 web-toedchloeOG 2001

I don't want to leave New Jersey...I like it here. I don't want to leave because then I might admit to my boyfriend the iota of a possibility that I might live in Pennsylvania after we're married, and that simply cannot be.

dont even talk to me about auto insurance. rah. losing your licence and getting into a couple accidents within 2 years does NOT help money situations lessen. rah2.
