Ive been waiting for the right mix of technology, actors, and wrighters to make all my favorite movies come to life on the silver screen.
So in anticipation of the new movie Xmen 2 coming out on fri, I figure id throw some x men hype out there, and answer any xmen questions for those ezabelers, who are looking to expand there xmen knowledge

that i xmen evolution, its kinda a spin-off story line off of the comic,
but the art is great as well as the animation!!!!

wolverine's the coolest. I used to collect his comic book. one issue he's all depressed, so he goes into a bar and a guy picks a fight with him, so he tells the guy to just punch him in the face as hard as he can. the guy puts on brass nuckles, punches him, wolverines jaw gets dislodged and is just hanging there, and wolverine just shoves it back up, pops his eye back in the eye socket, and a couple frames later, he's all back to normal. classic.
you probably wouldn't see that scene in a saturday morning cartoon.

I cannot wait to see Nightcrawler!!! So exciting. I wonder if they'll develop his and Mystique's relationship at all or if that was just an original cartoon thing and wasn't in the comics? And hopefully they'll fix the Rogue story up a bit cause she doesn't have her super strength yet!
in the comics I think she was his mother. or they thought she was his mother or something. <sarcasm>cause they're both blue. so obviously they must be related. </sarcasm>
Yeah..no she was definetly his mother. ANd he was in some way related to that anti-mutant guy. And because Mystique was like Rogue's adoptive mother in disguise (she was the one that made her gain super strength and flying abilities) Rogue and Nightcrawler were like half brother and sister

there was a good issue when they duke it out, it was a good fight
but you know, you cant knock out your mom, no matter how evil she is, shes still your mom!!
and the strength thing with rouge,
well, she was fighting mrs marvel when she was on the BOEM (brotherhood of evil mutants) and got her in the headlock. Mrs marvel has the strenght and the flying power. so she freeks and takes off into the air, now rougs power is to mimc your mutant power for a short while, but this usualy leaves the donner, incompasitated.
but mrs marvel flew up and up and up,and rouge not letting go, took her power, all of it, perminently.and now, Mrs marvel is a vegstable in the hospital. thats that. hay, mabe in xmen 3
Exactly!! I love those two storylines, they're definetly one of the best. But the reason Rogue was part of the BOEM was because her father had kicked her out when he found out she was a mutant and Mystique..in disguise of a blonde woman..had taken her in and became her mother type figure. But that can't really happen now so I just wonder at the genius that can come up with a way to do the whole Mrs Marvel thing.

just got back from seeing it. they sure packed a bunch into this one. story was good. mystery was good. and the opening for another was done just right. night crawler's a bit creepy, but that teleporting is pretty cool!
the movie was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. i cannot emphasize it much more than that. nightcrawler was the bomb!!!! he is my favortie!! and the iron man with the metal chest and abs, that was so cool!!

ahhh..Gambit. A mutant originating from Louisiana. Has red hair and is often seen sporting a green trench coat and following Rogue around. His mutant ability allows him to charge small object (like the playing cards he is known for) with energy and he then throws them like little bombs.

that movie was everything i hoped it would be and more. it was definatly a crowd pleaser, and nightcrwaler was insanely awesome.
btw...what do u guys think that ending was all about? did u see the 'mutant' in the water?
Jean Grey is not dead. well. she's kinda dead, but not really. remember all those times her eyes got read and her powers were getting stronger? that was the Phoenix coming out.
She kinda died when the water overtook her, but has now become the Phoenix. You saw her/its shadow in the water. X-Men 3 is gonna be interesting...
Ugh..I am so not a Phoenix fan. Hopefully the movie makers will do it tactfully and not have it drag on for more then one movie like it does in the cartoon-where it lasts for half the series. Jean Grey has the potential for being a really amazing character if she wasn't always fainting or falling or screaming and yelling "Scott!" or chasing after Logan as if she cared for him as more then a friend only to give his hopes up!
sorry, never saw the cartoon. but she is the phoenix for quite a while in the comics. Yeah, Jean is kinda annoying as far as the Scott/Wolverine thing, but thats why becoming the Phoenix is cool, cause instead of holding back her powers and being pretty useless, she becomes basically the most powerful mutant on the planet.
