by Listening to one of my mothers "records"
I noticed how our music today is so blunt
With my moms music I had to really listen
to understand what was being said and what
it meant. with some music today you know what
they are talking about its written sometimes
as the title..
Its harder today to find good quality music
since it is tainted by whatever is popular
whether its drugs or the extremes of death
In my moms music i had never noticed how "sly"
song writers were. How sad it is that things
that we enjoy are going from what was wholesome
to what is dirty and just plain malevolent, obscene, and offensive.
