Weekend update
by I hope everyone had a nice weekend. It is thouroughly beat to be back at work this Monday. I had a very very nice weekend. Mikayla came out Thursday night and made it to my meeting, and then Friday morning, we went on a hike with my dad and got eaten alive by huge giant killer gnats. Mikayla wore some dressy sandals on the hike, of course. If you ask her she'll probably say that she didn't have any sneakers with her, but I think she just wanted to look good for in case we ran into a forest ranger. Heheh. (j/k) We spent the rest of the day with my mom in New York. We went to see David Gray play at Radio City Music Hall. That was a great show! I'd get tickets next time he's around if you're into his music at all.
Did a little shopping on saturday and went out to dinner with a few friends. Then Larry and I showed off our cars in the Ledgewood mall parking lot. There's always all these kids there by McDonald's that have neon lights under their chevy pickups and they like open the hoods on their 94 civics and pump up their k-rad sound systems. Pretty intimidating if you ask me. So Larry tried to peel-out in his A4 Quattro and completely failed. They were impressed, I think.
Sunday after the meeting, Kayla, my parents and I went on a canoe trip and we got to see a LOT of turtles. I didn't realize mikayla gets so excited when she sees a little turtle, so that was fun. We got some nice pictures from the weekend that I think I might post up here tonight. Oh! When we were canoeing, we found this like dog skeleton or something under the water. Skull and rib cage and some leg bones. So nasty! Kinda scary too. My mom has all these theories about how somebody must be dumping dead bodies into the river and stuff. Always the conspiracy theorist, that one.

Yeah those cars were pretty beat if you ask me but for the record though I did not try to peel out i dont think i can anyhow but i mean if i really wanted to i could work it.... Yeah Zabels Suck
I played a show this weekend, and after we finished our set this girl ran up on stage and kissed me and said i was hot! I'm not joking- it was the weirdest thing that has EVER happened to me. Does this man i'm a rockstar now??? Hardly, but it was an experiience non the less.
i remember the first time that happened to me... yeah, that was special, but now its just ugh, get over it already sister!
my weekend was cool... saturday, i finally went to the mall after forever, so i'll be thugged out for a while... still need to get that leather jacket! ummm, went over Clauberg's for dinner, Kurt sings exactly like frank sinatra... scary! sunday, i played some ball, i faked this one kid totally off his butt, he was sprawled out on the ground, and i was just soaring and dunking. see it starts with the fake, a 'lure' if you will. so you lure, you soar, then you score... they don't ask for more you better believe it baby. then practice with New Sky Morning, and that's my weekend in a nutshell. get it. got it. good.
