Albums for the Summer

       Well, summer is here, and with it comes a vast array of new albums. Weezer has a new effort out now. We'll just call it the "Green" album. Its a combo of 60's harmonies and poppy punk rhythms. Its very cool. I just picked it up today and it lives up to the Weezer standards. You may have already heard "Hash Pipe" which is a pretty cool song, but you must check out "Photograph". It will melt your mind. Go buy it. WEEZER!

      Another cool album that just came out is Shades Aparts new one. Its called "Sonic Boom". Very intimidating. I just saw Shades Apart in Altamont, NY. Ive seen them many times before and they rocked very hard as usual. This new album, "Sonic Boom", is very similar to their last album, "Eyewitness". They are both very guitar driven,with post-pop-punk melodies, and emotionally charged vocals. Very good combos. Great band. Great music. Buy it. Rock out!

    Lastly, I want to talk about a very cool album. Its not new at all, but I think everyone should own it this summer. Its "The Clash. The album - "The Clash". Quite possibly one of the best punk records ever made. This is raw, absurd, all-out punk rock. Songs like "White Riot" and "Remote Control" just grab you by the shirt-tails and swing you around till you vomit. Its great. Get this album or poop. The Clash Wails!
