Under age

This is an article devoted to how much being "under age" stinks!

I'm sitting around doing nothing wasting precious time that could be used to have fun and make memories with. Why is this so? There's no getting around it, no matter how hard you try, no matter how old/mature you feel or how old/mature you look, this demon i like to call "time" puts a sign around your neck showing all, the quotient of how long you've been living. Making this heavy chain around your neck keep you from having the responsibility, indepedence, and freedom you crave and deserve. In my opinion age isn't a number, but how a person acts, feels and how they are inside.

It gets to me so much sometimes when i see people that can handle things infront of them, but are held back and can't make there own decisions because of there age.
They aren't allowed and then their personal matters are decided for then, without there say. Don't get me wrong everyone needs disapline or counsil every now and then , but when does helping become controlling? Where do mentors need to draw the line and let someone be there own person and take risks and learn for themselves? Should they not be able to do this becuz they are not old enough?

In other acpects being under age not only holds you back from having liberty but also socialability. Just becuz you are marked or cursed with the dreded number it unables you to get to know many people or should i say for then to get to know you. In most cases as soon as they learn of your age it turns on a switch telling that person not to become friends with u and to keep their distance, when infact a good relationship and fun times good have been aquired.

But all i can do is wait.Suffer and wait.Till the day comes when i can become old enough to people. Until i get to the point where I too will be one of the ones restricting the next generation back from their freedom and dreams.
