Bumming
by As some of you already know, I got into an accident in my 2002 WRX yesterday morning on the way to work. It was low-speed one (5-10mph), so nobody was hurt, but I did a lot of damage to my car. It'll probably be like $5,000 to fix it, and about $1,000 to fix the bumper of the Volvo that I hit and bent a little. So, for the next few weeks, I will drive a padiddle. Of course, I won't be driving it at all if the anti-freeze keeps leaking out all over the ground. : (
The good news is that I probably won't get kicked off of my insurance if I report the accident. Sigh...

yeah i rear-ended someone about a year ago, it was rainy out and he stopped short, i didn't report it, paid for their damage ($1200) and the honda still holds the damage that i inflicted upon it. But thats the only one. I've been in serveral accidents but usaually a passenger while ian is driving or larry or some crazy people from ohio.
That's really a bummer man, i'll drive you around in the wagon if you want :)
Sorry to hear about that Ian. Just be glad YOU didn't get hurt.(who cares about the other people...JOKING!) It's a good thing NO ONE got hurt and it wasn't a Huge accident. Drive Carefully and be safe!!!

haha, you know i can't help but have a few drinks before heading into work. man, i'm sad and pathetic.
ian, isn't this like, your 100th accident? seems like a pattern.... i just saw it, and it's sad. i'm so sorry. that really, really stinks. maybe you should hire a driver to be on the safe side ;)

everyone says i'm a dangerous driver. well i have news for ya'll...i've never been in an accident okay!!?? except for the time some moron opened his door into my car. oh yeah and i rear ended some lady at a stop light going like a mile an hour, but there was no damage. oh yeah, and some guy rear ended me, but no damage. my old car was a beast.

i guess this is my third serious accident. okay, maybe fourth. but i have great excuses for each one. i mean, come on, i fell asleep the one time!
Awww man Ian that sucks about th car, but that's not too bad, man the comparisons of damage is crazy
but they do say Volvo's are one of The safest cars on the road...
But hey if it makes you feel any better at least your damage wasn't all that bad,
cause a friend of mine has the exact car you have (except he did some work to it in order to make it faster)
well he totalled his WRX like a 2 weeks ago.... =(

well Ian my friend with the WRX is a mechanic, so needless to say he knows what
he's doing. He did a few things to the body that made it look nice,
he put a 2 different performance filters into it which increased his horsepower and
pickup speed, he said he had also put a custom exhaust on it which of course
made it Louder and he said it gave him an extra 25 horses...where he got the parts
you got me on that. It's So hard to find parts for a car that new, chips and other
thing won't come out for at least another year rarely sooner than that. My father
bought a 2001 Toyota Tundra and he wanted to put new shocks on it and the only
company besides Toyota
it's self that could Give him shocks was Bilstein a Performance parts company...but
hey if you want to do somethings to yours i'm sure i could ask were to aquire such
things from my friend...=)
