The WAAAAY Back Time Machine

A long time ago, there was the internet. POOF! It was born. Just like that. And people made lots of pages, with mostly little pictures saying "Under Construction"- that looked something like this.

Now, things have gotten better on the Internet. There are Flash pages, stuff created with DHTML, XML, and all other kinds of cool thing. But what if you wanted to see what the web page you are looking at USED to look like? That's where this AWESOME site comes in. www.archive.org has EVERY web page with EVERY change EVER made SAVED!! They are all stored on a GIANT server in California at Berkeley University. With just a few clicks, we can see everything from the very first Yahoo page to the first Ezabel. (What? You want to see what it looked like? Well, it was mostly news stories posted by Ian...) (ok, you REALLY want to see what it looked like?)

Now, I know what you're thinking...WHO are those really scary people in the top right-hand corner? Well, apparently it was Ian with dark hair...I guess the blond comes from a bottle. And did you SEE that ridiculous poll? haha...good stuff.

So, you gotta check out other old pages. I had a look at my very first "Barnes and Noble Skank" page and let me tell you, it was TERRIBLE! (The final version was much better.)
