bunnies

Okay so i wake up this morning same as every morning, go to the kitchen get a glass of water and look out of the window onto my rabbit ebony roaming free, except this is where the normality ends.............

Behind my lovely jet black rabbit is hopping a grey baby bunny!!!!! Must be at least two weeks old! So after a whole lot of squealing, as happens a lot in a house full of girls, we discover there is another lighter grey one, jet black one like its mummy but with white toenails lol, and two white ones but both with black ears, black eighties smuges round the eyes and an identical black pattern on their backs.

The mad thing was we didnt even know she was pregnant (we had our suspicions) by our white albino male rabbit, and she had dug herself a burrow under some hollow steps from our conservatory.

Now we just gotta find four good homes for the ones we can't keep :( we've named most of them already its gonna be heartbreaking to have to let them go, dusk, sooty, jet and humbug - any suggestions for the final black and white one would be appreciated and we arent too sure about sooty either.

Anyway here are the pictures i took this evening when they all came out to play and the mum and dad sat by content to let us photograph them like they trusted us with their babies - how cute?

They are literally three times the size of the pictures, about 7" long!!!

This is Jet (with sooty in the top corner)

This is Dusk

This is humbug and Dusk

yeah we will as soon as we find out the sex of the one we're keeping (we cant handle them yet), to put a picture in you just write (img src="http://URL of picture.jpeg") replace brackets with open and close arrow. Youll need to upload them somewhere first aswell.

Bunnies are just the cutest things in the whole world. But do they make good pets?

N
nine9starOG 2001 ·

they sure do, we let ours run free in the garden cos i dont think its fair to coup them up and they are pretty tame i mean they come to us when we walk towards them, eat from out hands and dont mind being picked up and stroked.

Man..I really want one. But my mother would kill me and my boyfriend would try and feed it to his pet snake.

our old bunny ate all our watchtowers so we never had ones to study from at the sunday meetings and he chewed all our computer wires. and he was scary.

ha ha cute, so from what i've read, rabbits are generally house pets in america right? cos thats very uncommon over here

beachbum beachbumOG 2002 ·

well he was in the house until he ate most of our computer room and then my dad built him a house with a pen around it outside and then he would eat the wood pen or dig under it. he escaped like every day.

beachbum beachbumOG 2002 ·
