UPDATED: Gamecube Owners REJOICE!! Mega Man Comes to Town!
by WOW!!! Big news gets me back on here with NEWS!!! Capcom is releasing (for GameCube and -haumph- other platforms) Megaman Anniversary Collection!
Due to be released on May 12, this disc contains Mega Man 1 - 6 from the NES, the unreleased in the USA Mega Man 7 & 8 (from the SNES) and 2 bonus Mega Man arcade games. This is all for the AMAZINGLY low price of $29.99!
The Mega Man games were unique for their TOUGH gameplay, huge worlds and Mega Man's ability to take on the powers of the bosses he defeated.. all to defeat the nefarious Dr Wily. I'm looking forward to it!
UPDATE: The game is now due to be released end of June... UGH!

Hmmmm this actually sounds pretty cool. I think I only ever really played 1 megaman game. $30 is not too bad...
Mega Man was definitly one of my favorites on the NES. I love my gamecube, but to be honest, if it's available for XBOX I'll probably get it for that.

this is a VERY good thing. it will be played. at length.
this is great, megaman was my favorite game. the only thing I didn't like was you had to beat the bosses in a certain order, so you'd have the right weapon for the next boss. I relied greatly on a strategy guide and my subscription to Nintendo Power!

yeah. what about tryin to put your face on tony hawk or an NHL player? ever tried that? maybe tried to download some new levels from the internet? doesn't work with XBox live. why?
What? There's content download from time to time depending on game. I love live, and it's nice to have a hard drive to write everything to too.
