Note: when you go to complete an offer, you have to turn off any popup blockers you have enabled. There are instructions that pop up from freeipods.com.
To use the eBay offer, you have to sign up with a NEW account and then bid on something. (Doesn't have to win the auction)

You have to do it through their link, but I don't know if the email address matters.
Once you bid on something, though, it takes 2-3 for it to clear with freeipods.com, so give it time.
I did it with a different email addy. But it still hasn't shown that I've completed the process. I'll give it till Monday to see if it updates.
My friend did the Ancestery.com one and quit right away but I show on my screen that he completed the process.

I really like the mini from playing around with it, but I've got over 3500 songs on mine now. That would never fit on the mini. It's nice to have a personal jukebox anywhere you go.
