A slump? Nah....

It seems that some loyal readers out there think that eZabel has gotten a bit lax on it's news reporting. Well, thanks to the funky and fresh Matt Kelly, we had a couple of things to keep the site going while I was away. He is definitely a good fellow. Jolly good, right.

Anyway, I was in Pennsylvania and Colorado for the past 2 weeks. I went with the Rudloff family, and Megan Crawford. We stayed in Estes Park for a few days at the Rudloff's grandparent's log cabin, and then we went to a condo and hit some resorts. We went to Breckenridge, Vail and Keystone. Believe me, the riding is just about 35 times better than anywhere in Sussex County. I had an awesome time. Everyone got along great, and I really got to know everybody better, too, so that was nice. I'd do it again anytime, guys!

Also, I'd like to let you guys know that that "very special someone" in my life, Mikayla, is going away to the Dominican Republic (an island south of here. think Haiti) on Thursday. Her and one of her best friends, Candace. Thursday is February 1st. They will be in the Dominican until February 28th. That is an entire month! Ack! They'll be roving about in their summer clothes, and doing some preaching work and helping out at the branch office down there for a while, while we're all up here in the icy snowy rainy gross weather. I hope that you girls have an awesome time there, and make sure you bring back very large presents for everybody. Also, if you're smart, you'll only bring 1 carry on bag, and no luggage. You can do it Kayla, you can squeeze that iron in a backpack, I know you can! :) I'll miss you soo much.

Finally, I retired the Jackson poll, mainly cause it was lame. ;) Samuel L. won. I happen to think that Samuel L. Jackson is kind of a bad actor. But, I'm just happy that Michael didn't win, because I saw a pic of him in a magazine the other day, and he looked like a freak. So, I've been thinking about letting anbody post up news stories on the site here. That way anybody that had something to report could post it up for approval, and then you'd get your 15 minutes of fame. You could write in with a link to something interesting, or you could write a poem, or review a new cd. Whatever. Vote on the poll, and let me know if you're into the idea. I think it could be cool. It'd be like a little community. Awww, that'd be sooo cute.
