is nirvana a disabled band?

T
#5.1 toxicgirlOG 2003

I would call having a deceased frontman a definite handicap

iwz #5.2 iwz

no, cause the word nirvana doesn't describe a disability

malibu #5.2.1 malibuOG 2001

isn't nirvana like the ultimate level of peace on either buddihism or hinduism.?

iwz #5.2.1.1 iwz

yep!
in Buddhism, the enlightened condition of utter detachment, in the sense that all desires-- the source of suffering and delusion-- have been extinguished. May be loosely equated, therefore, with an absolute state (or perhaps more accurately, a non-state) of emptiness.

or in hinduism it's basically like death, a freedom from the cycles of rebirth. Ian i didnt know you were a budhist!
