if it cools me off i don't care what it is. as long as there is no poop in it that is.

I saw poop in a pool once. Horrible. I'm laughing about it now but it was soo gross.

i pulled a dead squirrel from the bottom of the pool once thinking it was a shirt. i couldn't stop screaming. i'm not sure which is worse-that or the poop.

thatdarngirl thatdarngirlOG 2002 ·

That is totally worse then poop!!

although it was funny when my little brother took it and chased my other brother around the yard with it as he proceeded to scream like a girl (the one that was being chased)

HEHEHE NICE! I remember hearing about that, too funny.

we always have dead squirrels bc we dont drain the pool in the winter. dead frozen sqirrels=nasty. one year we had a cat. that was sad.

I pulled a live rodent from a pool once... I flung him into the woods, too...sort of gently.

above ground pools are big on the east coast huh?

tinser tinserOG 2002 ·

hm, i think they were all the rage like 10 years ago

now its in-ground or bust (my family started the trend, i swear)

socalgal socalgalOG 2003 ·

LOL you little trend setters! I think you guys are "Secret" west coasters! :P

tinser tinserOG 2002 ·

hehe, i'd be a west coaster any day!

perrin perrinOG 2004 ·

well my family has one.

in our new house we are getting an in ground pool! yeah! so much better for pool parties, but i will miss the "whirl pool" effect.

beachbum beachbumOG 2002 ·

sunshyne sunshyneOG 2004 ·

thatdarngirl thatdarngirlOG 2002 ·

covering an above ground pool is fun. always got yelled at for swimming under the cover.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

extremely funny visual. lil frest, with a puffy mullet, neon green swimsuit, head bumping the cover.

forrestina forrestinaOG 2002 ·

dont forget a bathing suit with the tummy and back cut out. or a triangle bikini: /~forrestina/albums/?mode=view&album=misc&pic=bathingbeauties.JPG&dispsize=640&start=0 (3rd from left haha)

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

BAHAHAHA! so funny.

i really wish we had a video camera back then...

i loved that. we had six guys going at one time for like a half hour. my friends lil sister decided to hop in to try and help only to get swept away like pharaoh's chariotmen.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

forrestina forrestinaOG 2002 ·

ha now that's just pure laziness

originalsnob originalsnobOG 2004 ·

I always prefered in-ground but, I mean either type is a REAL pool. It's cool to be able to just jump/dive in without worrying you'll crack your head open.

sunshyne sunshyneOG 2004 ·

as long as you can get wet, its a pool. even if its mr turtle.

forrestina forrestinaOG 2002 ·

that is a misuse!

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

yes. mr. turtle is a recreational receptical for a loose granular material that results from the disintegration of rocks, consists of particles smaller than gravel but coarser than silt.

sunshyne sunshyneOG 2004 ·

we repurposed our mr turtle as a foot bath at the base of our pool ladder. looks like frest still hasnt recovered.
