I love UI scaling, jsut because I run in 1600x1200 on a 20" screen. I have my scale waaay down. You can also have the Titan Panel auto-hide.. mouse up to the top of the screen to make it appear.

Cosmos is very bloated. CTMod is very nice and tidy, and when you download it, you can disable specific addons you don't want. I personally find them all very useful.
