eZabel Legacy

This is Dan Hall's earlier account. His full eZabel Legacy can be found on his main profile, brotherman.

Before he became the Mets-defending, Rush-quoting, indie-music-trolling force of nature that was brotherman, Dan Hall quietly joined eZabel in May 2002 under a more fitting Sith-inspired handle. His darthhall era was brief — 9 comments over two months — but it was pure, undiluted Dan. He arrived because his friend delliott101 told him about the site, and his very first comment was a passionate defense of Attack of the Clones, complete with the argument that none of the Star Wars films deserved best picture but Yoda deserved best actor. He declared Star Trek garbage, said he'd rather watch Power Rangers, and cheerfully told thefunkyfresh that a claymation Yoda was a terrible idea. He listed his spiritual goals with the same directness he'd later bring to music debates, talked about selling NES games that were actually worth money on eBay, and vouched for Dave Elliott's sense of humor by comparing it to a twelve-year-old's — which, coming from Dan, was a genuine compliment. The Star Wars obsession, the blunt opinions, the easy rapport with Dave and magnum — it was all already there. darthhall was just the opening crawl before the main feature.

eZabel Personality Type: ESTJ — "The Debater." Same Dan, different handle. The force was strong with this one from the very beginning.
