yeah dude your CPU is definitely limiting that 9800 Pro. That's a sweet video card.

To find out what cpus your motherboard supports, you can look up it's product page on the manufacturers website....

That's a long and complex discussion. But, I'd say yes, a G4 @ 1.3ghz is faster than a P4 @ 1.3ghz.

I guess the real question is, since you won't be playing games anymore, how much does speed...

VirtualPC? yeah, but it's not the same.

The G4s are of course really nice. But it's still a mac, so you have to think about software and stuff. You won't just be able to install your copy of office on it or whatever.

Also, Alienware pcs...
