Ryan Clark was David Elliott's kid — or at least that's how he introduced himself, writing to rocksupastar that "my dad (david elloit) says hi" and launching into an enthusiastic rundown of his guitar collection and musical tastes. He was young, earnest, and clearly excited to be talking to the older members of the eZabel music scene. His messages to Mike Schiano read like a kid writing to a pen pal: detailed lists of favorite bands (Blink-182, Box Car Racer, Brand New, Thrice, Rage Against the Machine), careful descriptions of his Ibanez hollow body electric and his acoustic, and the recurring admission that he thought he stunk at guitar even though his dad said otherwise. tinser helpfully suggested he add an E to his name to be "SUPER COOL." All six of his comments landed in the Music Talk forum, where he declared Green Day a big influence on punk history, praised the Beatles, and made his feelings about Good Charlotte extremely clear: "I really hate good charlotte and all those stupid poser bands." He even attended the eZabel Lan Party, suggesting he was close enough to the NJ crew to show up in person.
eZabel Personality Type: ESFP — "The Eager Apprentice." A young guitarist who found eZabel through his dad's connections and used it to talk music with people he admired. His enthusiasm was genuine, his opinions were strong, and his hatred of posers was absolute.
