She was a snowboarder heading into her ninth season, a web designer who built band sites (like drawnfromendings.com for a Long Island group), and the kind of person who could talk her way backstage at Skate and Surf Fest in Asbury Park and end up fifteen feet from Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba while the crowd lost its mind. That story, told in breathless detail in 2002, captured everything about her: adventurous, resourceful, slightly starstruck, and absolutely willing to smuggle a video camera past security even if it meant losing the tape. She offered design services to iwz for eZabel itself — "I have all the logos you need, I even have that site design" — and organized group rates for Mountain Creek season passes, complete with her actual phone number for anyone who wanted in.
