It was still okay then... the Israelites later were told not to have incest, but at this time I guess they were much closer to perfection. You're making it sound like no one had incest back then, but that's not true at all, because....well...this is going back about a thousand years, but, adam and eve's kids had incest to start the human population. So it wasn't wrong then. (yeah, I agree with "i like-a-da birds", though, except that the children conceived would later become enemy's to the Israelites.)
