He's evil now but when he's darth vader (in Return of the Jedi) he brings balance to the force when he shows that he's really good inside and kills the emperor. Therefore only one jedi, Luke, remains, and he's good.
my mom always says how they take movie themes from the bible. like jesus had no father and was humans equalizer to be able to have a relationship with god, so anakin was the force's equalizer.
