hahaha this sounds exactly like a conversation i had earlier this morning! hahaha.. midlife crises all over the place... just remember... this is the OLD system, it sucks, but soon we'll be in the ...

flomojopoanode May 26, 2002

hey, in the new system, i guess it won't be weird for two people to get married, and one of them be.....ohhhh, a thousand years old, and the other be.....oh.....22. It wouldn't be weird at all. H...

delliott101 May 26, 2002

You're right... I'm glad age will be nothing in the new system... I think if I was interested in someone who was 22 in this system a few eyebrows would be raised...

jay79 jay79OG 2001

I don't think age is that big of a deal now. As long as they both love each other. I have friends that got married like 2 years ago, and he was 42 and she was 21. But I guess it will be LESS of a big deal in the new system.

thefunkyfresh thefunkyfreshFounder

now that skeeves me out a bit. unless i'm the lucky 42 year old guy.

jay79 jay79OG 2001

What's so wrong with it?

okay question, how about if a girl was to marry a younger guy???? i mean people seem to accept it the other way around.....

rocksupastar rocksupastarFounder

no not really.. people are the same for both younger guys getting older girls or vice versa... it doesnt really matter though.. if you are in love who cares about age.. it doesnt really matter anyways

N
nine9starOG 2001

true, i just always found the larger age gaps and especially men younger than women hard to grasp.

thefunkyfresh thefunkyfreshFounder

i guess whatever floats your boat

delliott101 delliott101OG 2002

When I lived out in State College PA, there was an elder who was around 65 who married a sister who is my age (that was 12 years ago, so she was 25 at the time)... I accepted it and had nor problem with it since I knew the two of them were very close. He was deleted for a time and is an elder again... not because what he did was wrong, but I guess just how it looked until the friends in general could accept it... they are still very happily married...
