I'm not really impressed by him, but most of my girlfriends are obsessed. He seems to paint a lot of churches as well.

yeah, i don't dig the religious paintings. i just think he has talent, but i wouldn't necessarily buy one. besides, any kind of religious painting creep me out.

Does he do any non-religious paintings? All of his paintings seem to have some sort of born-again motif to them.

i thought he also did alot of woodsy type paintings-cottages in stuff. maybe i'm getting 2 different artists mixed up?

He does, but the lighting in them always seems to be trying to evoke some sort of religious feeling. If you go to his website he calls a lot of his paintings "inspirational", which, to me, is code...
