here is the conclusion i've come to:
girls say boys are stupid, and boys say girls are stupid. The correct answer: Neither is stupid.
Anytime you are in a close relationship with a person, or anytime there are strong emotions involved, there are probably going to be hard times. So, while it might be easy to blame the problems, on the entire sex, it's really not that, its just that its impossible to get that close of a relationship with a person, and have everything go right all the time.
So, if i ever say boys are stupid...what i really mean is, having a close relationship involving emotions is hard, and at the moment...its not going the way i want.
Who labelled this comment stupid? Anyway, I think it's more that everyone is stupid in their own way, and you have to learn to deal with that if you're ever going to be successful.

yeah. but i'm kind of saying it to everyone - people put so much emphasis "we HAVE to make it work"...sure..if that person is worth fighting for. I think a lot of people aren't. You can tell pretty quickly if a person is, or not. If it goes smoothly - great. But if everything is a battle, you can't get married now anyway, etc... don't force it.

thats not really what i meant...what i meant is that people say stupid things when they're upset...like when you're mad at your parents...you might say i hate them or something like that...but you dont mean it. Same thing with relationships...if you have a fight with your bf, you might say, boys are stupid. I just meant its one of those venting things that people do. I'm not really justifying it...and the last part was more of a joke then anything else, cause if i said boys are stupid...it wouldnt be because of anything serious...it'd be more of a joke.
if things were really not going my way, in a serious situation, i most definitely wouldn't resort to that. But, i could see how my comment above sounded like that...i just had to clear that up....
but....the part before the last part still stands...when people say ANYTHING bad about the opposite sex, it really shouldnt be aimed at just the opposite sex, because problems arent dependent on sex, they are in every close relationship
