Ok the only games I know on Genesis that I recall having noisy gas passing were Ren and Stimpy, Boogerman, and Beavis and Butthead
it wasn't really farting. it was just a fart-like sign. "i fart in your general direction"
I am very unaware of this humorous game. You need to enlight me with more details than pink fluffy character that gave out fart signs.

okay i swear to you brett the brat the hair barret...he had the "room" that was basically a hallway into jut's room and i'm telling you i remember sitting on his waterbed and playing this game. i am not crazy!
Ok if you remember playing the game was the control pad 3, 4, or 6 buttons? AND did it have Right and Left toggle or not?
