The fun of Sega Genesis
Ok well I mean its like 10 years ago but you all know you had one. The hours you would spend on it playing major hits like Street Fighter 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3, Aladdin, Vectorman, Aero the Acrobat, Battle Toads, Toe Jam and Earl, Double Dragon, Boogerman, Chakan, Earthworm Jim, Ecco the Dolphin, ESPN baseball tonight, Fatal Fury, Galaxy Force 2, Greendog, NBA JAM, Jurassic Park, Desert and Jungle Strike, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, Mickey Mania, Mortal Kombat, NBA Live 95-98, Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing, Phantasy Star 2 thru 4. Pitfall the Mayan Adventure, Primal Rage, Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, Road Rash, Roger Clemens MVP baseball, Samurai Showdown, Shinobi 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Spinball, Spiderman: Maximum Carnage, Streets of Rage 1-3, Strider, Urban Strike, WWF Raw, WWF Royal Rumble, Zombies ate my neighbors...etc...
I am sure many of you can recall how much awesome fun you had when you were 10 and got your Sega Genesis and threw your Nintendo Entertainment System in the garbage.

The original Streets of Rage is still pretty untouchable even after all these years.
EEYEN! Hi. I think I saw my old Genesis in my mom's house.
I still have mine muaha. But playing it will take time away from KOTOR :P
anyone remember the game Hydro Thunder?
Haha you know which other systems I just remembered from that era that were like fun as well. Sega Game Gear, Sega Nomad, Sega 32X, Sega CD, Atari Jaguar, Panasonic 3DO, Sega Saturn, and that Nintendo system that was goggles for your eyes and it was 32 bit graphics. Haha thats all I remember. What was it called?
haha virtual boy. ugh that thing was horrific
oh yeah thats it. Haha that thing was retarded.
nba jam, bulls vs. blazers, battletoads & double dragon
YEAH BATTLETOADS
my best friends brother had sega and we would sit in his room for hours while he was at work and play on it... he never knew... and once he caught us and he yelled at us.. but my favs were Sonic the Hedgehog, Aladdin, Earthworm Jim, and Beavis and Butthead.. he would always be playing some stupid basketball game so when we were done, we always had to make sure to put his game back in so he wouldn't know haha o man... i loved being a kid
oh man i have so many memories of that stinkin waterbed in the attic. what was the game with the pink poofy guy?
Pink poofy guy??? Can you be more descriptive. I have like 40 games or so back at my parents house. Think thats scary...I have over 100 games for the Atari 2600.
I recently got an Atari 2600 off of E-bay and now have close to a hundred games for it. It's so awesome. I'd love to get a 7800 too.
We have an atari and lots of games for it. Not sure what kind..and my older sister broke it too :(
I love the Ataris. We had a 2600 and later a 7800 from the time I was born until I was about 8 or 9, and my grandmother in Princeton had a 5200.
are you speaking of Kurbi? that wasn't on genesis.. i think it was on nintendo.. get with it frestie!
nuh uh cus it said seeeega when we put the game in

haha the game like farted when he died (we weren't allowed to say fart-i think we're still not allowed)
Ok the only games I know on Genesis that I recall having noisy gas passing were Ren and Stimpy, Boogerman, and Beavis and Butthead
it wasn't really farting. it was just a fart-like sign. "i fart in your general direction"
I am very unaware of this humorous game. You need to enlight me with more details than pink fluffy character that gave out fart signs.
KIRBY rules
forreste, u are mistaken- Kirby was on nintento... which was the one in Justins room... Brett had the sega... you are wrong
okay i swear to you brett the brat the hair barret...he had the "room" that was basically a hallway into jut's room and i'm telling you i remember sitting on his waterbed and playing this game. i am not crazy!
Ok if you remember playing the game was the control pad 3, 4, or 6 buttons? AND did it have Right and Left toggle or not?
=/ i dunno haha
KIRBY?
never owned a genesis myself, but my bro and i wasted many an hour on our friend's. good times, good times. i love how many of these games are getting re-released now on the gameboy and other systems.
toe jam and earl, tho, what a wacky game
i wasn't allowed to have a video game system until i was like 17 for some reason. anyway, i recently gave my genesis to cerrato because he was saying how he wanted to bring back nba jam, nhl 96, etc ... i checked them out at ebgames, they wanted like 12 bucks for them! ridiculous! you KNOW they give .50 on a trade in!
sonic was awesome!!!! i had all of them, but after sonic and knuckles.. my addiction wore out. sonic 3d blast wasn't really the same.
I loved Sonic!! I'd sit for hours in my friend's basement and play that game.....so much fun.
Nope. I never had a Genesis. Phantasy Star 2 was an awesome game though. I used to play it on my friend's Genesis.
