I agree. I could always cook a little BEFORE I got married, but never had the time to really practice the art until afterwards, when I had the time, and my own kitchen. And I must say, not to toot my own horn or anything, but I am an AWESOME cook! Hehehe. But seriously, I think much more is required of someone in order to have a successful marriage...both parties, actually. I do manage the household side of my marriage, which makes it easier on my husband when he comes home, though. My mother in law always says that if you want them to be happy, give them a happy home life.(Or something to that degree) Basically, if works sucks for my husband, make coming home every day a pleasant thing, and there is less to stress about. But it takes work for both parties. I don't mind doing the stereotypical "wife jobs" to make my marriage easier, but I do know that it takes more than that. Realizing that is key.
