Alrighty, calling Project Graduation a class trip is just an excuse. I didn't go because I knew it wasn't a class trip, I knew what it would be and what it would turn into, and I didn't need that trouble. With all that said, I was also bad in my senior year, I just wasn't bad with worldly kids.
I did not go to my prom, I didn't really know too many people in my class because I associated mainly with my girlfriend at the time and the people from her class (she was 2 years behind me).
But, I did go to her prom. (I was also not in the truth at the time). The prom was nothing. Seriously, nothing at all. You get dressed up, you walk in (the fools waste money on a limo), and you sit at a table snack, talk to some people, make fun of what others are wearing, and do some dancing (if you like to dance). The real party is after the prom, when you go down to Seaside or whatever for the weekend, but that's where the real trouble begins. To me the prom was just a waste, we didn't have fun, we just went to say we went.
With that said, you're a smart person, do the research and come to your own conclusion. I didn't hang with many in my class so I didn't care if I went or didn't. My 10 year reunion is coming up in two months, I'm not even going to that, but again, that's because I really didn't know too many from my class.
