Alright here's an off topic question. I was watching The Screen Savers last night on TechTV and they were talking about video cards and processor speeds. I never realized that a video card, no matter how great it is, will only be as fast as your processor will allow it, well that's how I understood it.

I have an ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB card. Should I upgrade my 1.3 chip, and what would I need to find out about my mother board in order to do that?

yeah dude your CPU is definitely limiting that 9800 Pro. That's a sweet video card.

To find out what cpus your motherboard supports, you can look up it's product page on the manufacturers website. They often release new BIOS udpates that will support faster CPUs (within the same family).
