okay so tmobile doesn't have bluetooth right but supposedly in italy if you take out your sim card and put in what they call there a "tim" card you can use your phone. i have not been able to find any information on that tho...

TIM is a carrier in Italy.
With T-Mobile - the phones are locked to T-Mobile, so another SIM card won't work. Unless you get the unlock code (either online or from T-Mobile) - then you can use another SIM card.
However, that's not really an issue - because a T-Mobile phone with the Worldclass service enabled (free for any customer) will work in Italy. Cost is .99/min.

and T-Mobile does have bluetooth phones.
