okay so tmobile doesn't have bluetooth right but supposedly in italy if you take out your sim card and put in what they call there a "tim" card you can use your phone. i have not been able to find any information on that tho...

TIM is a carrier in Italy.
With T-Mobile - the phones are locked to T-Mobile, so another SIM card won't work. Unless you get the unlock code (either online or from T-Mobile) - then you can use another SIM card.
However, that's not really an issue - because a T-Mobile phone with the Worldclass service enabled (free for any customer) will work in Italy. Cost is .99/min.

I HAVE FREE TEXT MESSAGES! cuz the stupid people screwed up my bill.. so i called and was all like "yo sucka, u overcharged me, make it better" so he goes "aiight yo i'll give u free text messages till january" and i said "aiight bub" and that is the end of my story...

yea but the only problem is, none of my friends have unlimited like me, so i TM them and they never write back haha and if they do its "can u not TM me so much? my bill is super high" LOL
I had to do that at one point..but now I have unlimited incoming and 100 outgoing per month (a pain cause that's like $10 as it is).
i have unlimited text messages....all nextel people can only buy unlimited. it rules.

yep. i do. nextel is the only carrier that will never give anyone roaming charges, which i really like.
Interesting..how about in my area or more towards Penn. cause I never get reception out that way.
yo what is it w/our generation?!...communication is like SO digitized, we just loooveee talking w/eachother via every medium BESIDES actual talking...text messeges/AIM/eZabel/email....pretty soon we're gonna get rid of talking all togehter, haha, imagine like a group of kids, out to dinner, sitting @ a table, all looking down @ their cell phones, texting eachother....
MOST SAD THING EVER: i've actually seen kids at a table, NOT interfacing each other, chatting to OTHER people on their phones, texting and playing various games and such.
actually we're not that bad. people in europe text WAAAAAAAAAAY more than we do. i used to ask "why don't you just call?" and they were like.."whaat? isn't it more expensive to call?" and i said "not really...each call only costs 2 pence (cents) and each text costs 10 pence"..they didn't really get it, though.

they aren't that smart. i hope laura or sam or emma comes online, because they were there the day i suggested this. also, in england, all incoming calls are free, so it works better! but they aren't too bright.

Yo why doesn't some company put out like an all-inclusive cell phone w/like an am/fm radio, mp3 player, digital recorder, etc...Like, I know they have cell phones w/more than one function & stuff..but..are those features available any any models currenty?..
i have the samsung s105....and the speaker just broke out of no where (i didn't drop it)...so t-mobile sent me a new phone...same kind...guess what...its broken too, and i havent even used it yet.
So basically what i'm saying is...its a nice phone, but i don't think its the most reliable one out there...but if you have the patience to keep returning it to them...and getting a new one...then maybe its not so bad

I have some little stupid panasonic phone with Verizon AT&T hook-up..I get service no where and get ripped off with my text messaging deal.
ummm...DG..it's only one OR the other. either verizon OR at&T. panasonic..only makes phones for AT&T. so, i'm gonna pick that one. they also have unlimited text messaging for 9.99/month. so umm. i hope you're not paying more than that.
I was thinking I had Verizon but then I realized that I just wished I had verizon and I typed AT&T, I guesss I typed both. And no I'm not paying more then that..or I was for a while BUT that's a lot more then verizon people have to pay for unlimited.
i have a Samsung SCH-A310. it's served me well. but i don't really like it. no 'get it now' features. it's just a basic straight forward business phone. theres a game on it called Fly Ribbon. fun stuff. it's best when you listen to music and just kinda vibe it. yeah, ok. i want to get the new lil samsung thing. sexy lil flippy thing...
ahhh yes the rotating screen...look for samsung coming out with their own push to talk phone soon...
I've an LG VX4400.
It's really nice, but there's two things I don't like about it.
1.) The vibrating battery alert is way too soft and I hardly ever feel it. My old LG phone's battery was a lot stronger.
2.) There's no Get It Now like Management screen or whatever, at least that I can find. So, I can't tell how much space is used, and I can't delete apps.
ok, I kinda just found out how #2 works on my phone, but it's really lame.
got the same phone...and hate it for the same reasons.
also the cover blocks the side button used to activate the voice-calling feature. it's a real pain.

i recently got hooked up with AT&T. service is good. i get 90% of my calls. otherwise they're left in my voicemail. they gave me a free phone, the Nokia 3595. great phone for a great price! it's got color and you can go online and download stuff and internet access or watever. it's really top of the line
dan, can you tell the sprint guys to put more towers in Edison? i mean its gotta be one of the most congested areas, especially when you take into account everyone driving on Route 1, Route 27, the turnpike, etc. I get the crappiest reception in my apartment. so freaking annoying. I practically have to stick my head out the window for it to work.
Oh and so this doesn't get marked "Offtopic" I've got one of those Sprint Camera Phones. its pretty cool, set up picture caller id.
specifically southern Edison near route 1.
i can mention it to our Regional Manager, it's definitely a high traffic area. let me see if i can locate where the tower is, maybe let sprint know it's not handing the call capacity it should, or it needs to be re-angled...
it needs to pointed at my window if possible.
ok i looked on the internet where the nearest Sprint tower is to you. it's actually kind of far away...in south plainfield. i'm going to try and post a link for you to see...if it doesn't work, i'm sorry...the towers have a range of 3-5 miles, and it seems you're too far away for that. search here for NJ towers under Sprint Site USA...you'll see tower number 45 in south plainfield, nothing near route 1

i'll pass that along...i discovered there's a nextel tower about half a mile from where i live, yet i get hardly any reception in my room, and the rest of the house in only a little better...these things can be weird.
