it depends WHY you hate it. if you dislike the "we live close to the greatest city in the world and so whatever i want, i should have it NOW" - well, that's just how some people are.
if you dislike it because people say "why shouldn't i have the nicest material things, everyone else does" - well, that happens anywhere.
but if you dislike it because there are so many people, and some parts are dirty - there are better parts of the state.
soooo...i wanna hear more information.
Yeah I agree with this question... I know you hate all the "drama" in NJ ... I do too.. but I really don't think you can get away from that... because people make drama, no matter where they are....
ha ha,,well ever since i was young i disliked NJ, I think the reason now i dont like it,is its living expense,& i have to agree with kam, the DMV,, i dont care that we are this close to the city because i hate the city, i dont need everything in the blink of an eye, nothing really about the city excites me, I dont really care much for the change of seasons, id be fine in warmth all year round and just visiting winter. Id rather the setting be of a quant town with island surrounding where there is only like 2 kingdom halls on the entire island. Also It's to fast pace of a life everywhere around. The drivers, the foreign people who dont know how to drive. the HUGE diversness of ethnicity kinda is crazy, i know that sounds weird, ha ha, but i duno how to explain that, and Im not prejudice, ha ha.
Oh i agree about the fast pace of life. haha.. like in NC, they talk slow, they walk slow, they take their time... haha that's a good point (i almost typed ping..)
WOW, i have pinged in FOREVER
sounds JUST like california! Although i do love it out here, the only thing i hate is the traffic....so i can empathize with you on most since it's almost the same =)
**although i would trade it all in if i could be a mermaid and live in the ocean! =)
Except for the fact that you don't have seasons in Southern California.
this is true! thats where vacation time to a "wintery" place comes in! ;)
You know, you're the first Southern Californian to actually agree with me on that statement. Everyone else I've met from there seems to think that what you guys have qualifies as "seasons".
nah it doesn't. I can see how we're "satisfied" with what we have but we don't have seasons. Maybe the peeps you've spoken to have not really traveled to a place that has actual seasons
ha ha, im pretty sure it can be arranged,, Do you know lady Octopus they call Ursula?
haha....just give her your voice
ha ha,
Yeah I saw it in a movie once and it worked. It my be worth the trade, ya never know!
you know when i went surfing the other day I looked for her to "take me away" but i couldn't find her! lol
look for the eels...they'll take you to her...fletchum and gretchum or something
Flotsum and Jetsum.
haha, good memory
i love foriegn people! but i get frustrated sometimes when i'm lost in the middle of nowhere and i stop at a gas station to get directions and i get a blank stare from an indian dude, with an american name on his shirt! okay, "Dave", thanks for nothing.
ha ha, ya I HATE that
the DMV have liberally supplied me with some of the worst experiences i've had in this state or anywhere. i've almost lost it in there a few times. the people behind those desks are bad people. simple as that.
dude - the DMV is now online. the world is a much better place for it. You can pay tickets, renew registration, schedule an inspection, and a lot of other cool things. http://www.state.nj.us/mvc/
lately, i've noticed the poeple at my local DMV to be a lot more organized, more chill, and in general, more helpful since now a lot of the people just go online.
having said that...the DMV is a business. that makes RIDICULOUS money. every ticket, every renewal, every license, everything, they make mad loot on. and i bet they pay $5/hr.
and for new yorkers: http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/
they're evil, rude....i can go on and on
