my wife spent a month in DR, so that's kinda out. and HI is too expensive and we're not really interested in going there... so, you know.
Yeah....I have a friend who was in the DR for 3 months when she was younger....great for going out in service and trying to find interested ones, and great for vacation, but not if you've been there for extended periods of time. I remember being very ready to go home at the end of our honeymoon. But Punta Cana was super-nice, if you stay in a hotel or a resort or something like that...kind of takes you away from everything else.
