haha...those hours upon hours of being exposed to blistering hardcore have finally desensitized you into liking it eh?...wish i could help you w/these cd's..i have some of these band's music downloaded from kazaa but i don't have any of their albums...

I do on the other hand have some stuff you might not be hip to, but would probably like

Dream Theater - Amazing band, it's like a metal opera - think, Yanni meets Metallica +

Poison The Well - Crazy yet melodic...lota double bass..Hardcore staple

Sebadoh - 90's Indie rock, VERRY good, love'm

Hopesfall - It's like, Humcore....One of their major influences is Hum..So they have a verrrrry spacy/dreamy/sci-fi vibe..but they mix that w/hardcore...

Yeah dream theatres pretty good. A friend of mine absolutely loves then and absolutly raves about them to everyone.

they define the progressive metal genre..they throw a lil fusion in there too..amazing stuff...their keyboard player add's an awesome vibe...they even go classical sometimes

Yeah their rendition of, oh what is it. I think it's Flight of the bumble bee is in a word amazing, in my opinion anyway. John Petrucci is an amazing guitarist as well.
