1. Drink lots of water
2. Avoid foods labeled reduced/low fat, sometimes the fat content isn't that low and it can have a load of extra salt
3. Eat a small salad for lunch
4. Cut back on carbs, but not entirely
5. Take a walk everyday

This is what I have been doing and I've lost 13 pounds in a month!
