I suppose so. Oh, and I only described Emo music. Emo kids are a totally different breed. They're Rivers Cuomo Glasses wearing, tight jean, turtle neck sweater boys with hair in their eyes that can't get a girlfriend and cry about it. Sometimes they're so cute though, yeah.

Actually..the sweaters are super cute..especially the whole collared shirt with a sweater vest thing. And the hair into the eyes is sometimes pretty cute too. You should check out Seventeen magazine..they had a whole page layout on how to look 'emo'. It was pretty funny, and the model was hot.

don't you mean: The Beach Boys ??? and what about: The Righteous Brothers ??? I guess emo's been around awhile.
Nah... the Beach Boys has these great button down striped shirts in the early days and hair neat and parted on the side... then they had the hippie look.. but the Righteous Brothers DID look gay anyway...
wow! perfect explanation! some of the old "emo" is pretty good. I like the promise ring. saves the day and weezer has also been classified by some as "emo" and they're okay. i like weezer alot more than saves the day though
In the words of Rivers- "We're not really Emo we're more elmo. Yeah..we're elmo rock." Weezer is 'emo' because of the emotion it contains in their songs, which would make sense if emo actually meant emotional. It really doesn't anymore..it's more like over-emotional-whiney-babies.
