paintball markers?? explain. we can get some of those. we need some decent capture the flag rules.
Alright, theres really two ways to play CTF. First off you have two teams, lets say 5 on 5. In both games you have two home bases, one for each team on opposite sides of each other.
In the first scenario you'll have two flags, one at each base. At the begining of the game the object is to capture the flag of the other team and return it to your base. If you get shot you're out. If you get shot and you're carrying the flag you drop the flag where you went down. The first team to capture the flag wins. Now in some cases you might need to have both flags on your base in order to win. So you could capture their flag but need to get your flag back. That's not typically the way its done but can make for an interesting game.
The other way is to have one flag placed in the middle of the field. First team to capture the flag and return it to their base wins.
If you ever really want to play I suggest getting a group together to go to Top Gun which is in Jackson, practically across the street from Great Adventure. I haven't been there in years but its a blast there. They've got a few out door fields. And if you're really in the mood to try something fun press your luck in the speedball arena. It's a lot of fun and you'll get better really quick.
oh. you meant REAL paintball. i thought you meant markers on the ground, like, to show how big the field was.
we can't play stuff with guns, because we are not people of war. BOO YAH. instead we can have my mom make us ice tea.
They're not guns, they're called markers. Boo YA! hehe, if you do the research they're called markers because they were first developed by lumberjacks. They would have to mark trees to be cut down. They figured it was quicker to shoot them with paint out of a gun, thus introducing the paintball marker.
They then began horsing around and shooting each other which was the begining of the sport of paintball.
i mark YOU for death!
I am intrigued..but I think we were going for just finding some random field and not playing at a real place.
Yeah, that's what a few people I know do. I know a few decent places to play for free.
I'm actually trying to sell all my paintball stuff, I don't play anymore.
