As far as Insomnia is concerned I've tried all of the above except the journal entry. lol. I've found that reading is good as long as it's something that relaxes you. Not something that will stimulate the mind or get you excited. I've been told by a number of people that chaomile tea really helps them to sleep but as far as I can tell from my experiece it doesn't help me at all. Movies generally aren't good because you tend to get rapped up in them and want to see what happens and they very rarly help relax you and put you to sleep.
What I use that really helps me the most though is Melatonin. I usually take it about an hour and a half before I plan on going to sleep. It doesn't always help but it's been the most effective means to help me to sleep thus far. Just my little 2 cents on the matter.
you know whats awesome too...those CD ocean sounds..etc. i have those and i love them! I get all cozy and sleep so comfortably! its like sleeping on the beach without being kicked off the beach or being mistaken for a vagrant! lol
Yeah those are great but what fun is it if there is no chance of being mistaken for a vagrant that just takes all the fun out of it. lol
it usually takes me like half an hour to fall asleep, and not the four minutes that it takes an average person to sleep, so I've been trying new things.... 1.) something called Deep Dreams, my mom found it for me, but it really works. Also i take a Bach Flower remedy called Sleep- this also works well
