sounds like a cool brother i wish we had more fun brothers in our hall i also wish my hall had more single older friends that did stuff together but no my hall as alot of couples with kids and elderly in my hall , i do enjoy the friends in my congregation dont get me wrong i just wish there where more my age and single
well, see - here's the thing...he's VERY entertaining, i feel like i'm watching a sketch comedy show when he's on stage...but, his delivery always distracts from the point of the talk, and the other elders get SOOO mad at him, it's hilarious...one time they let'm give a sunday discourse..O MY GOD, i've never witnessed anything crazier in my life...the outline was supposed to be about cleanliness...he ended up talking about childhood experiences that had nothing to do w/cleanliness at all...all extremely funny..but..nothing to do w/the talk...i was doing the sound that day, and, there's a monitor for the entrance camera back there - the second he started going off, all 8 elders got up and went to the back, i could see them in the monitor throwing their hands up and looking all annoyed..haha...
wow guess the elders dont let him give sunday talks anymore or did they just council him on what is appropiate.
they just counseled him. i think he really doesn't understand that he maybe is just too abrupt for most people. and he has a really severe problem with his hearing so he doesn't even "get" peoples reactions.
