I've only heard people in NJ, and everywhere else in America call it a "glove compartment" too. Except that this wasn't on an American radio station. People in PA call it a "glovebox?" ..Hmm ...

I've not heard all my family in PA use that term....but it has been used my friend. Oh yes, it has been used. :)
