It's who you think is the best character not neccissarily your favorite. Which one you seem to think was the best overall in the series of movies. I really don't know how else to explain it though I think most people just voted for their favorite character. It's really up to you how you want to interpret it.
And why do you have Anakin on that list and Darth Vader on that list?
